Asfalt Kaplama Yol Üstyapılarında Oluşan Bozulmaların Araştırılması

Abstract

Ulaşım kavramı, ülkelerin ve o ülkeyi oluşturan insanların sosyal, ekonomik ve kültürel yapılarında tartışılmaz derecede önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bir ülkenin büyümesinde ve kalkınmasında büyük rol oynayan karayolları, yüksek maliyetlerle inşa edilmekte ve ciddi bir kontrol ve bakım hizmeti ihtiyacı duymaktadır. Karayolu denince de, akla doğal olarak yol esnek üstyapısı yani asfalt kaplamalar gelmektedir. Asfalt kaplamaların hesaplanan hizmet ömrünün verimli olması, hesaplanandan az olmaması ve ihtiyaçlara doğru cevap verebilmesi için altyapı ve üstyapı sisteminin işlevini doğru bir şekilde yerine getirmesi gerekir. Oluşabilecek bozulmaların acil olarak tespit edilip doğru bir şekilde müdahale edilmesi, yoldan beklenen hizmeti karşılamasında çok önemlidir.Türkiye gibi gelişmekte olan bir ülke açısından oldukça maliyetli olan asfalt kaplamaların ilk yapım aşamasına gereken özenin gösterilmesi gerekmektedir. Tasarımı ve yapımı gereğine uygun bir şekilde gerçekleştirilmeyen asfalt kaplamalarda çok kısa sürede bozulmalar oluşmaktadır. Bu bozulmalar zamanla sürüş kalitesini düşürmekte, en önemlisi de, trafik güvenliği açısından son derece tehlike yaratmaktadır. Zamanında önlem alınmadığı takdirde ise onarılması imkânsız hale gelmektedir.Bu çalışmada, asfalt kaplamalarda oluşan bozulmalardan ve bunların bakım ve onarımlarından bahsedilmiştir. Çalışmanın birinci kısmında kaplamalara genel bir bakış yapılmış ve kaplama çeşitleri gösterilmiştir. İkinci kısımda asfalt kaplamalara değinilmiş, asfalt kaplama tabakaları ve kaplama yapımında kullanılan malzemeler hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Üçüncü kısımda asfalt kaplama üzerinde oluşan bozulmalar açıklanmıştır. Dördüncü bölümde ise asfalt kaplama bakımı ve onarımında kullanılan malzemeler ve yöntemler gösterilmiştir. Beşinci bölümde materyal ve yönteme değinilmiştir. Altıncı bölümde elde edilen bulgulara, son bölümde ise sonuçlara ve önerilere yer verilmiştir.

The concept of transportation has an indisputably important position on social, economical and cultural structure of countries and people of those countries. The highways which play great role in development and progress of a country are constructed with high costs and are in need of intensive control and care services. When it comes to the terms of highways, the flexible superstructures of roads, in other words asphalt coatings, occur in mind naturally. It is required that infrastructure and superstructure systems complete its functions properly in order to make calculated service life of the asphalt coating efficient, not to have less then the calculated version and meet the requirements in a correct way. It is quite important to detect possible distortions immediately and intervene correctly in terms of meeting the expected road services.It is necessary to elaborate to the first structuring process of the asphalt that is quite high in cost for a developing country like Turkey. On asphalt coatings whose design and construction haven?t been realized appropriately, distortions form in short time period. Such distortions decrease the quality of driving in time and more significantly jeopardize the security of traffic extremely. Unless the necessary precautions are taken on time, the recovery becomes impossible.In this study, distortions on the asphalt coatings, and care and recovery of them are mentioned. At the first part of the studies, a general overview on the coatings has been done, and variations of the coatings have been presented. At the second part, asphalt coatings have been dealt, and required information has been given about asphalt coating layers and materials used in making process of the coatings. At the third part, the distortions on the asphalt coatings have been explained. The forth part presents asphalt coating care and, materials and methods used in recovery of asphalt. At the fifth part, material and method has been mentioned. In the sixth part the findings and in the last part, results and suggestions have been given place.
