Hepatitis Vaccine: From Past to Today

Abstract

Viral Hepatitis is a cause of considerable morbidity and mortality in human population both from acute infection and chronic sequale. The development and availabilty of safe and immunogenic vaccines, which have been shown to be highly effective, constitute a major advance in preventive medicine. This review highlights the major developments within the field of vaccines against viral hepatitis.
