Merzifonlu İbrâhîm Cûdî Dîvânı (İnceleme-Metin-Sözlük)[1b-43a]

Abstract

18. yüzyılda çözülmeye başlayan dîvân edebiyatı geleneğinin 19. yüzyılda birkaç şairden başka neredeyse takipçisi kalmamıştır. Her alanda hızlı bir değişimin yaşandığı 19. yüzyılda, dîvân edebiyatı geleneğini kısmen de olsa devam ettiren ender şairlerden biri de Merzifonlu Muallim İbrahim Cûdî'dir. Cûdî Efendi, 19. yüzyılın sonları ile 20. yüzyılın başları arasında yaşamış, öğretmen, şair ve siyaset adamıdır. Son Osmanlı Mebusan Meclisi'ne Amasya milletvekili olarak seçilmiştir. Cûdî Efendi Selanik'te öğretmenlik yaptığı dönemde, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk'e kavaîd ve ilmihâl dersleri vermiştir. Ali Canip Yöntem, Nabizâde Nazım gibi birçok meşhur ismin de yetişmesine katkı sağlamıştır. Arapça, Farsça ve Fransızca'yı tercüme yapıp te'lif yazacak derecede hakimdir. Cûdî Efendi, yaşadığı dönemlerin de etkisinde kalarak hem dîvân edebiyatı geleneğini sürdürmüş hem de yenilik yanlısı bir tavır sergilemiştir. Cûdî Dîvânı'nda, Osmanlı kültür ve medeniyet izleri yanında yeni edebiyatın şekil ve içerik özelliklerine de rastlanmaktadır. Cûdî Dîvânı bu özelliklerinden dolayı sentez bir dîvân özelliği göstermektedir. Çalışmamızda dîvân edebiyatının bir bakıma son, yeni edebiyatın da ilk temsilcilerinden olan Merzifonlu Muallim İbrahim Cûdî'nin hayatına, edebi şahsiyetine, dîvânının çevriyazılı metnine ve sözlük çalışmasına yer verilmiştir. Ayrıca Cûdî Dîvânı'nda yer almayan, çeşitli kaynaklardan derlenen şiirlerine de yer verilmiştir. In the 19th century in which a quick evolution occurred in almost every field, one of the rare poets somewhat maintained the tradition of divan literature was Muallim Ibrahim Cudi of Merzifon. Cudi Efendi, lived in the end of the 19th century and beginning of the 20th century, was a teacher, a poet and a politician. He was elected as a member of the parliament to The Last Ottoman Chamber of Deputies representing the Amasya province. When he was teaching in the Thessaloniki, he entered the regulations and catechism classes of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. He also contributed to the educations of many of famous names such as Ali Canip Yöntem and Nabizâde Nazım. He had a good knowledge of Arabic, Persian and French languages, good enough to make translations and write compilations. Cudi Efendi influenced by the periods he lived in and both maintained the tradition of divan literature and adopted a manner of reformist. In the Cudi's Divan, in addition to the touches of Ottoman culture and civilization, one can encounter with the characteristics of form and substance of the new literature. Cudi's Divan shows the characteristics of a synthesis divan from this perspective. In this work, we aimed to give brief information about the life of Muallim Ibrahim Cudi of Merzifon, one of the last representatives of divan literature, in a way, and one of the firsts of new literature; along with his literary personality, translated text of his Divan and a dictionary work. There are also his poems collected from different resources that is not placed in the Cudi's Divan. Key words: 19th century, divan literature, Merzifon, Cudi Efendi, divan.
