İlköğretim Görsel Sanatlar Eğitimi Dersinde Bir Materyal Olarak Kil Kullanımının Duygusal Zeka ile İlişkilendirilmesi Üzerine Bir Araştırma

Abstract

Bu araştırma, İlköğretim Görsel sanatlar eğitimi dersinde bir materyal olarak kilin duygusal zeka düzeyi üzerine etkisini ortaya çıkarmayı amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma Karadeniz Bölgesinde bulunan bir ilimizde, özel bir okulun ilköğretim 4. kademe öğrencilerinden toplam 30 kişiyi kapsamaktadır. Öğrenciler deney ve kontrol grubu olmak üzere ikiye ayrılmıştır. İki grupta da 15'er öğrenci bulunmaktadır. Deney grubuna 8 hafta eğitim verilmiş, kontrol grubu ise eğitim almamıştır. Öğrencilerin tümüne ön-son test şeklinde Bar-On Duygusal Zeka Ölçeği Çocuk ve Ergen Formu (EQ-i:YV) uygulanmıştır. Öğrencilerin duygusal zeka ölçeğinden aldığı puanlar SPSS 22 paket programıyla analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda Deney ve Kontrol gruplarının öntest sonuçlarından aldığı puanların arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farka rastlanmamıştır. Deney ve Kontrol gruplarının duygusal zeka ölçeğinin sonuçlarından aldığı sontest puanlarının toplamı öntest puanlarından düşüktür. Program uygulamaları sonunda deney ve kontrol grubunu oluşturan öğrencilerin duygusal zeka puanları arasında anlamlı bir artış gözlenmemiştir.

The research contains 30 people in total from fourth grade students in a private school located in the the Black Sea region. The students are divided into two groups as experiment and control group. There are 15 students in both groups. The experimental group was trained for 8 weeks but the control group was not trained. All of the students were practiced in the form of pretest-posttest Bar-on emotional intelligence scale and child and adolescent form. Students' emotional intelligence scale scores were analyzed with SPSS 22 package program. At the end of the study, no statistically significant difference was found between the scores obtained from the pretest results of the experimental and control groups.T he sum of the posttest scores of the experimental and control is lower than the pretest scores. There was no significant increase in the emotional intelligence scores of the students in the experimental and control groups.
