Abstract
SAMSUN İLİ TERME İLÇESİNİN OVA VE YÜKSEK KESİMİNDEFINDIK YETİŞTİRİCİLİĞİNİN KARŞILAŞTIRMALIEKONOMİK ANALİZİÖZETAraştırmanın amacı, Samsun İli Terme İlçesinin ova ve yüksek kesimindekiişletmelerin ekonomik yapılarını karşılaştırmalı olarak analiz etmek, fındıkyetiştiriciliğinde girdi kullanımı ile üretim maliyetini belirlemek ve fındığınpazarlama durumunu ortaya koymaktır.Araştırmaya esas olan veriler, fındık yetiştiriciliği yapan ova kesiminde 81,yüksek kesimde 70 işletmeden anket yolu ile elde edilmiştir. Anket yapılacakişletme sayısı, işletme arazisi büyüklüğü esas alınarak basit tesadüfi örneklemeyöntemine göre hesaplanmıştır.İncelenen işletmelerde ortalama işletme arazisi büyüklüğü ova kesiminde 38dekar, yüksek kesimde 31 dekardır. Ortalama parsel sayısı ova kesimindekiişletmelerde 2.04 iken, yüksek kesimdeki işletmelerde 3.39'dur. Çiftlik sermayesininaktif sermaye içindeki payı ova kesiminde %92.4, yüksek kesimde ise %94.0 olarakbulunmuştur. Mali rantabilite oranı ova kesiminde %7.2, yüksek kesimde %6.5'tir.Ekonomik rantabilite oranı ise ova kesiminde %7.3, yüksek kesimde %6.9'dur.Ova ve yüksek kesimdeki işletmelerin; parsel sayısı, arazi büyüklüğü, aktifsermaye, işletme sermayesi ve aile iş gücü varlığı açısından birbirinden farklılıklarıistatistik açıdan anlamlı bulunmuştur.Bir kg fındığın üretim maliyeti ova kesiminde 3.0 YTL, yüksek kesimde 3.6YTL olarak hesaplanmıştır (2005 yılı fiyatları). Ova kesiminde fındık, üretimmaliyetinin %92 daha fazlasına satılırken, yüksek kesimde bu oran %59'dur. Bunagöre ova kesimde fındık yetiştiriciliğinden elde edilen kâr, yüksek kesime göre %31daha fazladır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Fındık, Terme İlçesi, ova ve yüksek kesim, ekonomik analiz,pazarlama, fındık üretim maliyeti.
COMPARATIVE ECONOMIC ANALYSIS OF HAZELNUTPRODUCTION BETWEEN LOWLAND AND HIGHLANDOF TERME DISTRICT, SAMSUNABSTRACTThe objectives of the research are to analyze the economic structures ofhazelnut farms in lowland and highland comparatively, to determine input levels andproduction costs in hazelnut production and to expose the marketing environment ofhazelnut in Terme District of Samsun Province.The data used in the research were collected from 81 farms in lowlands and70 farms from highlands by questionnaires. The number of farms which weresubjected to the survey was selected according to the farm size by simple randomsampling method.In the research area, the average farm size was 38 decares in lowland and 31decares in highland. The average parcel number was 2.04 in lowland and 3.39 inhighland. The share of farm capital in active capital was 92.4% in lowland and94.0% in highland. Financial profitability ratio was 7.2% in lowland and 6.5% inhighland. Economical profitability ratio was 7.3% in lowland and 6.9% in highland.It was determined that the number of parcels, farm sizes, active capitals,operating capitals and family labor were significantly different between lowland andhighland.The production cost of hazelnut per kilogram was 3.0 YTL in lowland, 3.6YTL in highland (2005 prices). Hazelnut was sold 92% more than the productioncost in lowland, and 59% in highland. It indicated that the profit of hazelnutproduction in lowland was 31% more than that in highlands.Key Words: Hazelnut, Terme District, lowland, highland, economic analysis,marketing, production cost.
