Yaratıcı Drama Yönteminin Öğrencilerin Başarı ve Tutumları Üzerine Etkisi

Abstract

Araştırmanın amacı, yaratıcı drama yönteminin öğrencilerin başarı ve tutumları üzerine etkilerini incelemektir. Bunun yanında araştırmada müziğin teorik konuları için yaratıcı drama yöntemiyle hazırlanmış uygun eğitim etkinlikleri geliştirerek, öğrencilerin bu konulara karşı olan isteksizliklerini ortadan kaldırmak, müzik teorisine ilişkin bilgilerin öğrenilmesini kolaylaştırmak, öğrenmeyi eğlenceli ve kalıcı hale getirmek ve öğrencinin isteyerek öğrenmesini sağlamak da amaçlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada; belirlenen amaçla, Milli Eğitim Bakanlığının 2018-2019 Eğitim Öğretim yılı Müzik Dersi Öğretim Programında bulunan ve İlkokul 4. sınıf müziksel algı ve bilgilenme öğrenme alanına ait teorik bilgilerin öğretiminde yaratıcı drama yöntemi uygulanmıştır. Çalışma, deneysel yöntemle yürütülmüştür. Çalışma grubunu, Samsun Mimarsinan İlk okulundaki 40 öğrenci deney grubu, 40 öğrenci kontrol grubu olmak üzere 80 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Müziksel algı ve bilgilenme öğrenme alanına ait konular kontrol grubunda geleneksel (klasik) öğretim yöntemiyle sınıf öğretmeni tarafından işlenirken, deney grubunda ise yaratıcı drama yöntemi kullanılarak araştırmacı tarafından işlenmiştir. Her iki gruba da uygulama öncesi ön- test ve uygulama sonrası son-test müzik dersi başarı ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Ayrıca uygulama sonrası müzik dersi tutum ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Ölçeklerden elde edilen sonuçlarla, yaratıcı drama yönteminin öğrencilerin başarısına ve müzik dersine karşı tutumlarına etkisi araştırılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, yaratıcı drama yönteminin öğrencilerin tutumları üzerinde olumlu etkisi olduğu, cinsiyete göre anlamlı bir fark bulunmadığı, öğrencilerin başarı düzeyleri üzerindeki etkisinin 'çok büyük derecede olduğu bulunmuştur.

The aim of the research is to examine the effects of creative drama method on students' achievements and attitudes. In addition to this, in the research, it was aimed to develop appropriate educational activities prepared with creative drama method for the theoretical subjects of music, to eliminate the unwillingness of students towards these subjects, to facilitate the learning of information about music theory, to make learning fun and permanent, and to provide the student to learn voluntarily. In this study; For the determined purpose, creative drama method was applied in the teaching of theoretical knowledge of the 4th grade musical perception and information learning field in the 2018-2019 Academic Year Music Course Education Program of the Ministry of Education. The study was carried out by experimental method. The study group consists of 80 students, including 40 students in the Samsun Mimarsinan Primary School, an experimental group and 40 students in the control group. While the subjects pertaining to the musical perception and information learning area were taught by the classroom teacher with the traditional (classical) teaching method in the control group, the experimental group was taught by the researcher using the creative drama method. The pre-test and post-test post- test music course success scale was applied to both groups. In addition, after the application, music lesson attitude scale was applied. With the results obtained from the scales, the effect of creative drama method on students' success and attitudes towards music lesson was investigated. As a result, it was found that creative drama method had a positive effect on students 'attitudes, there was no significant difference according to gender, and the effect on students' achievement levels was 'enormous'.
