N-Hydroxy-N′-(1-Naphthyl)-2-Phenyl­Acetamidin-2-One

Abstract

The title compound, C<inf>18</inf>H<inf>14</inf>O<inf>2</inf>N<inf>2</inf>, consists of an amino-naphthalene group and a 2-phenyl-1,2-ethanedione 1-oxime group. Intermolecular O-H⋯N and O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds [O⋯N = 2.775 (2) Å and O⋯O = 3.252 (2) Å], and π-π interactions are highly effective in forming chains, thereby stabilizing the crystal structure.
