Cities rising by elevator are expanding with cars. Because of developments in life, power electronics elements and their applications are widely used for small-power applications and high-power applications such as motor drives and power supplies. In this study, electric vehicles are examined and whole inverter system with parallel IGBTs for induction motor is designed. The original design of the inverter and its components has been made in order to control the speed and torque of the induction motor, which is widely used in the industry. In the design with parallel connected IGBTs, all subcircuits that make up the inverter, which are current sensor circuit, insulated switched power supply, dead time circuit, snubber circuit and cooler circuit with speed-controlled fan, CAN bus communication unit, were individually designed and put together to form the whole inverter system. After the inverter system was made up, both FOC (Field Oriented Control) and DTC (Direct Torque Control) vector motor control methods were tested on this inverter. STM32F403 microcontroller was used for control of induction motor. © 2021 IEEE.en_US
