Abstract

ÖZETnsan çevresiyle sürekli bir iletişim halindedir. Bu iletişim genellikle yüz yüzeolabildiği gibi çoğu kez de kitle iletişim araçlarıyla gerçekleşmektedir. Kitleiletişiminde kullanılan araçların etkin bir biçimde kullanılması için grafik sanatlar daönemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Grafik sanatların ve kitle iletişim araçların en önemliöğelerinden biri de afiştir.Afiş kitlelere plastik sanatlar yoluyla mesaj veren bir iletişim aracıdır. Bir fikri, birürünü ya da hizmeti hedef kitleye aktarmada en etkili grafik tasarım ürünlerindenbiridir. Grafik tasarımının en önemli problemlerinden biri olan fikir bulma vegeliştirme, afiş tasarımında da kendini göstermektedir.Afişte tasarım süreci afişte ele alınacak konunun belirlenmesiyle başlamakta veproblemin çözümüne yani afiş tasarımının sonuçlandırılmasına kadar sürmektedir. Butasarım probleminin çözümüne yönelik olarak yapılan eğitim, araştırmanın kapsamınıoluşturmaktadır.Araştırmada öncelikle afişin tanımı türleri ve tarihi gelişimi ele alınmıştır. Grafiktasarım, afişte tasarım ve süreci, tasarımın temel ilkeleri gibi konular araştırmanınilerleyen bölümlerinde ele alınarak tasarım problemlerine ışık tutulmaya çalışılmıştır.Bu bölümlerde ayrıca afişin değerlendirme kriterlerine de yer veriler afiş tasarımkonusu tamamlanmıştır. Araştırmanın son bölümünde ise Güzel Sanatlar EğitimiBölümlerinde afiş konusunun ele alınış biçimleri üzerinde durulmuştur. ABSTRACTHuman beings are in continuous communication with their environment. Thiscommunication can be realized both by face to face and mostly by means of mass media. Inorder to use the means of mass media in an efficient way, the graphic arts play an importantrole. One of the most effective factors of the graphic arts and the means of mass media isthe posters.Posters are a means of communication that sends message to masses by plastic arts.They are one of the most efficient graphic design products for transferring an idea, aproduct or a service to masses. One of the most important problems of graphics design,creating and developing ideas is also faced in poster design.The design process of posters starts with the determination of the subject that will beprocessed and it continues until the solution of the problem meaning the conclusion of theposter. This design forms the scope of the education and researches provided for thesolution of the problem.First the description, types and the historical development of the posters are processedin the research. Subjects such as the graphics design, poster design and its process and thebasic principles of design have been processed in the future sections of the research and it istried to throw a light on the design problems with these. In these sections the criteria for theevaluation of the posters has also been mentioned and the subject of poster design has beencompleted. In the last section of the research, the process forms of the posters subject in thebranches of the Fine Arts education have been processed.
