Publication: Dil ve Kültür Bağlamında Almanca ve Türkçede Hayvan Adları İçeren Atasözleri ve Deyimler
Abstract
Deyimler ve atasözleri; toplumların kültürel özelliklerini doğrudan yansıtan, anlatımı daha etkili ve canlı hale getirmeye yarayan özel ifadelerdir. Her toplumda karşılık bulan ve sıklıkla kullanılan bu ifadeler bulunduğu topluma göre şekillenir ve anlam kazanır. Bu çalışmada Türk ve Alman kültürüne ait hayvan adları içeren ifadelerin incelenmesi ve anlamsal olarak karşılaştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Aynı zamanda bu çalışma atasözleri ve deyimlerin kökenleri hakkında kültürel bir alt yapı oluşturmaya yöneliktir. Çalışmada kültürün evrensel gerçekliği olup olmadığı sorusuna cevap aranmış ve elde edilen veriler analiz edilmiştir. Buna göre Türk ve Alman kültüründe hayvan adları içeren ifadelerin bir kısmında birebir eşdeğerlikler tespit edilmiştir. Ayrı hayvan adıyla oluşup aynı anlama gelen deyimlerin yanı sıra karşılığı bulunamayan ifadelerde mevcuttur.
Idioms and proverbs are special expressions that directly reflect the cultural characteristics of societies and make expression more effective and vivid. These expressions, which are frequently used in every society, are shaped according to the society in which they are found and gain meaning. In this study, it is aimed to examine and compare semantic expressions of animal names belonging to Turkish and German culture. At the same time, this study aims to create a cultural background about the origins of proverbs and idioms. In the study, the answer to the question of whether the universal reality of culture was sought and the data obtained were analyzed. According to this, some of the expressions containing animal names in Turkish and German culture were found to be equivalents. In addition to expressions that have the same meaning as a separate animal name, there are expressions with no equivalent.
