Ömer Seyfettin'in Hikayelerinde Çocuğa Görelik Açısından Olumluluklar ve Olumsuzluklar

Abstract

Bu çal ma, Ömer Seyfettin hikâyelerinde çocu a görelik ilkesi temelal hikâyelerin ta olumluluklar ve olumsuzluklar tespit edip, çocukyaz nda çocu a görelik ilkesinin e itimde etkili olabilecek sonuçlar n ortayakonmas amaçlam r. Farkl konulardaki hikâyelerin bulu tu u, çocu a görelikilkesi aç ndan olumluluk ve olumsuzluk ta yan ortak tümceler belirlenmi veyorumlamalar yap lm r.Hikâyelerdeki; metin düzleminde, ileti im düzleminde ve dü ünsel düzlemdebulunan bilgileri sunan tümcelerle tematik yap ortaya konmu ve bunlar nhikâyedeki yaz nsal anlamlardan olan etkisel anlamlar belirlenip, tespitlerinyorumlamalar yap lm r.Hikâyeler çocuklara yeni duyu lar sunarken bildiklerini de yans rlar.Çocu un ilgilerinden hareket eden, temel dil becerilerinin kazan lmas na katk dabulunan ve yaz n zevki olu turmay amaçlayan bir çocuk yaz n çocu a görelikilkesiyle, çocuk gerçekli inden yoksun olmas dü ünülemez. Çocuk yaz ndaçocuk gerçekli ine uygun, yaz n de eri aç ndan nitelikli eserler çocu un estetikbe eni ve zevkini geli tirmekte ve dil duyarl kazanmas na yard mc olmaktad r.Bu noktada çocuk okurlara sunulan eserlerin hem sanatsall k hem de e itsellikaç ndan çocu a görelik ilkesiyle ili kili olmas gerekir.Hikâye türünün okuyucular üzerinde sanatsal etki yaratan bir tür olmas ,yaratt etkinin de kulland dile ba olmas sebebiyle, bu çal mada ÖmerSeyfettin hikâyelerinin çocuk okurlara sundu u dünyan n kap lar da dilbilimselbir yakla mla açmaya ve incelemeye çal lm r.

This study has aimed to demonstrate the positive and negative aspects ofÖmer Seyfettin s stories and to put forth the results of the principle of suitabilityfor children in children s literature that can be effective in education on the basis ofthe principle of suitability for children. In the stories having different subjects,command sentences which have negative and positive aspects in respect of theprinciple of suitability for children have been determined and their interpretationhas been made.Thematic structure in the stories has been put forth with the help ofsentences presenting information in the text level, communication level andconception level and their effective meaning which is also one of the literarymeanings in the stories, have been determined and the interpretation of the resultshave been made.The stories not only present new senses to children but also reflect whatthey know. It can not be thought that a children s literature which takes its rootsfrom children s interests, which contributes their abilitien of altaining fundamentallanguage skills and which aims to create a taste of literature lacks the children sreality with the principle of suitability for children . In children s literature, workswhich are qualified in respect of literary value and which are relevant to thechildren s reality develop the aesthetic likes and tastes of children and help themattain sensibility to language. At this point, Works presented to the childrenreaders should be related to the principle of suitability for children in respect ofboth artistic and educational aspects.As story is a genre which creates an artistic effect on readers and as itseffect depends on the language it uses, in this study it has been tried to open andexamine the doors of the world presented to the children readers in ÖmerSeyfettin s stories with a linguistic approoch.
