Tarihsel Buda'dan Tanrısal Buda'ya: Buda'nın Tanrısallaştırılma Süreci

Abstract

Bu çalışma Budizm'in kurucusu olarak kabul edilen Buda'nın tarihî süreç içerisinde, tarihsel kişiliğinden uzaklaştırılarak efsane ve olağanüstülüklerle dolu mitolojik bir varlığa nasıl dönüştürüldüğünü ele almakta ve iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölüm özellikle Tarihsel Buda'yı konu edinmektedir. Buda öncesi Hindistan'daki inanç yapısı, Tarihsel Buda hakkındaki tartışmalar, Buda'nın insanlara anlattığı öğreti en sade haliyle konu edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde ise Buda'nın tarihsel kişiliğinin değiştirilmesine neden olan olaylar ve etkiler ele alınmış ve günümüzde Budistler tarafından en çok benimsenen Mitolojik Buda anlayışına nasıl ulaşıldığına yer verilmiştir. Aynı zamanda Budist mezheplerin oluşumu ve Buda hakkındaki görüşleri ele alınmıştır. Sonuç ve değerlendirme bölümünde ise Budizm'in maruz kaldığı hangi etkiler sonucunda tarihte yaşamış olan Buda'yı göz ardı ederek mitolojik Buda anlayışına ulaştığını tespit ettik.This study expresses that Buddha, accepted as a founder of Buddhism, how was turned into full of myth and extraordinary mythological being detracting from historical identity in historic process and it consists of two chapters. In the first chapter, it is mentioned about historical Buddha. It is tried to mention about structure of faith in India before Buddha, discussions about historical Buddha and the simplest form of his discipline which he told people. In the second chapter of this study, it is dealt with events and effects that caused the change of Buddha's historical identity an it is mentioned about how achieved the mythological Buddha concept, mostly adopted by Buddhist nowadays. And it is also mentioned about creation of Buddhist's cults and opinions about Buddha. It is epilogue and assesment section, we determined that it had reached mythological Buddha concept ignoring historical Buddha exposed to many influences in history.
