Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Evliliğe Yönelik Tutumları ile Eş Seçimleri Düzeyi Arasındaki İlişki

Abstract

Bu çalışmada üniversite öğrencilerinin evliliğe yönelik tutumları ile eş seçimleri düzeyi arasındaki ilişki incelenmektedir Araştırmanın evrenini 2020-2021 eğitim-öğretim yılında Türkiye'nin çeşitli üniversitelerinde öğrenim gören üniversite öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise bu üniversitelerde öğrenim gören 247'si kadın, 229'u erkek olmak üzere toplam 476 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmaya, yaş aralığı 18-26 olan öğrenciler seçilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin bireysel özelliklerini belirlemek için 'Kişisel Bilgi Formu', evliliğe yönelik tutumlarını belirlemek için 2014 yılında Bayoğlu ve Atlı tarafından geliştirilen 'İnönü Evlilik Tutum Ölçeği' ve öğrencilerin eş seçimleri düzeyini belirlemek için 2015 yılında Altuntaş ve Atlı tarafından geliştirilen 'Eş Seçme Stratejileri Envanteri' kullanılmıştır. Yapılan istatistiksel analizler ise; demografik özeliklerin belirlenmesi için frekans analizi, ölçek puanlarının cinsiyet değişkenine göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını belirlemek için İlişkisiz Örneklemler t-testi Analizi, ölçek puanlarının yaş değişkenine göre anlamlı farklılık gösterip göstermediğini belirlemek amacıyla Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (One-Way ANOVA), farklılaşmanın hangi grup arasında olduğunun belirlenmesi için Tukey Post-Hoc testi, üniversite öğrencilerinin evliliğe yönelik tutumları ile eş seçimleri düzeyi arasında ilişki olup olmadığını belirlemek için 'Bivariate Correlations testi' uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizi sonucunda; üniversite öğrencilerinin evliliğe yönelik tutumlarının cinsiyet ve sosyo-ekonomik değişkene göre anlamlı farklılık göstermediği (p>.05), yaş değişkenine göre ise anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği (p<.05) tespit edilmiştir. Üniversite öğrencilerinin eş seçimleri düzeyinin cinsiyet, yaş ve sosyo-ekonomik durum değişkenine göre anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği (p<.05) tespit edilmiştir. Üniversite öğrencilerinin evliliğe yönelik tutumları ile eş seçim düzeyleri arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu (p>.05) tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma bulguları tartışılmış olup çeşitli önerilerde bulunulmuştur. The universe of the research consists of university students studying at various universities in Turkey in the 2020-2021 academic year. The sample of the study includes 476 students in total, 247 women and 229 men, studying at these universities. For this study, students aged between 18-26 were selected. ''Personal Information Form'' used in order to determine the individual characteristics of the students who participated in the research. ''İnönü Marriage Attitude Scale'' developed by Bayoğlu and Atlı in 2014 used for the purpose of defining the attitudes of students towards marriage. ''Partner Strategies Inventory'' developed by Altuntaş and Atlı in 2015 used to state the level of partner choices of the students. Following statistical analyzes were made; frequency analysis to determine the demographic characteristics, Independent Samples t-test Analysis to determine whether the scale scores differ according to the gender variable, One-Way Analysis of Variance (One-Way ANOVA) to determine whether the scale scores show a significant difference according to the age variable, Tukey Post-Hoc test to determine in which group did the differentiation occur, 'Bivariate Correlations test' to determine whether there is a relationship between the attitudes of university students towards marriage and the level of their partner choices. As a result of the analysis of the data; it was determined that the attitudes of the university students towards marriage did not differ significantly according to the gender and socio-ekonomic variables (p>.05), but differed significantly according to the age variable. (p<.05) It was determined that the level of partner choices of the university students differed significantly according to gender, age and socio-economic status (p<.05). It was identified that there is a positive and significant relationship (p>.05) between the attitudes of the university students towards marriage and the level of their partner choice.
