Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Dersine Yönelik Geçici Koruma Kapsamındaki Yabancı Öğrenciler ile Türk Öğrencilerin Görüşleri ve Öğretmen Yeterliği

Abstract

Bu araştırmada, Türkiye'deki beden eğitimi ve spor dersine yönelik, geçici koruma kapsamındaki yabancı öğrenciler ile Türk öğrencilerin görüşlerini tespit etmek ve beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenlerinin yeterliğini araştırmak amaç edinilmiştir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması modeli kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama sürecinde, nitel araştırma veri toplama yöntemlerinden görüşme tekniği kullanılmış verilerin elde edilmesi 'Yarı Yapılandırılmış Görüşme Formu' ve 'Kişisel Bilgi Formu' aracılığıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmanın evrenini Gaziantep ilinde bir ortaokulda eğitim görmekte olan geçici koruma kapsamındaki yabancı öğrenciler ve Türk öğrenciler ile aktif olarak görev yapmakta olan beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmanın örneklem grubu ise Gaziantep'te bir devlet ortaokulunda öğrenim görmekte olan 12 geçici koruma kapsamındaki yabancı öğrenci ve 12 Türk öğrenci ile aktif olarak görev yapmakta olan 6 beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmeni kapsamındadır. Araştırmanın amacına uygun olarak araştırmacılar tarafından Türk öğrenciler için 9, geçici koruma kapsamındaki yabancı öğrenciler için 9, beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenleri için 9 sorudan oluşan toplamda 27 soru kapsamında yarı yapılandırılmış üç görüşme formu hazırlanmıştır. Görüşmelerde, veri kaybına sebebiyet vermemek adına görüşmelerin ses kayıtları alınmıştır. Elde edilen kayıtlar yazıya dökülmüş ve Nvivo programına aktarılarak veriler içerik analiz yöntemiyle çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmada beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenlerinin derslerine yönelik yeterliklerinin olduğu ancak ders aktarımında geçici koruma kapsamındaki yabancı öğrencilerin Türkçelerinin yetersiz olmasından kaynaklı dil ve iletişim sorunlarının yaşandığı tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenlerinin, her iki öğrenci grubunu da derslerine dahil edebilmeleri, her iki öğrenci grubunun sınavlarını eşit şekilde uygulayıp değerlendirebilmeleri ve öğrenciler arasında bir problem yaşandığında gerekli müdahalelerde bulunabilmeleri önemli hususlardandır. Sonuç olarak, dil ve iletişim problemlerinin beden eğitimi ve spor dersi süresince ciddi anlamda engel teşkil etmediği, her iki öğrenci grubu arasındaki problemlerin zamanla çözüme ulaşarak öğrenciler arası uyumun arttığı ve bu ders ile her iki öğrenci grubunun oyunlarla kaynaşması sağlanarak sporun birleştirici etkisinin ne denli büyük olduğu belirlenmiştir.The aim of this study is to identify the opinions of foreign students that are under temporary protection and Turkish students on physical education and sports lesson in Turkey and investigate the competence of teachers of physical education and sports. The case study model, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. In the data collection process, the interview technique, one of the qualitative research data collection methods, was used to obtain the data through the 'Semi-Structured Interview Form' and 'Personal Information Form'. Target population of the study consists of Turkish students, foreign students that are under temporary protection and teachers of physical education and sports lesson who work actively at a secondary school in Gaziantep. The sample group of this study consist of 12 foreign students under temporary protection, 12 Turkish students and six teachers of physical education and sports lesson who actively work at a secondary school in Gaziantep. In accordance with the purpose of the research, three interview forms were prepared by researchers. Semi-structured interview forms were prepared within the scope of 27 questions in total, consisting of 9 questions for Turkish students, 9 questions for foreign students under temporary protection and 9 questions for physical education and sports teachers. In order not to cause data loss during the interviews, audio recordings of the interviews were taken. The records have been transcribed and transferred to the Nvivo program. The data transferred to the Nvivo program were analyzed by content analysis method. It has been determined that physical education and sports lesson teachers have proficiency in their lessons, but while transferring the lesson, foreign students under temporary protection have language and communication problems due to their insufficient Turkish language skills. In addition, it is crucial for teachers to include both groups of students in the lessons, to apply the exam evaluations of both groups of students equally, and to make necessary interventions when there is a problem among students. As a result, it has been determined that the language and communication problems do not pose a serious obstacle during the physical education and sports lesson and the problems between two student groups can be resolved over time and thus the harmony between them can be increased, and it has also been determined that the unifying impact of sports by ensuring that both student groups are fused with the games is great.
