Abstract
The molecule of the title compound, C<inf>15</inf>H<inf>14</inf>N <inf>2</inf>O<inf>2</inf>, is approximately planar and displays a trans configuration with respect to the N=N double bond. The dihedral angle between the two aromatic rings is 10.90 (14)°.
