Abstract
The effect of organizational culture on organizational stress was examined in this study. The immediate effects of the independent variables of organizational culture (Innovative, Clan, Bureaucratic and Adhocracy) on the dependent variables of organizational stress (Occupational Stress Sources, Stress Sources Related to Organizational Structure and Policy and Stress Sources Related to Role, Relationship and Personality Structures) were investigated. With this purpose, a survey was handed over to 734 employees in a state hospital in Georgia, but 410 surveys were received back and 350 surveys were included in the study due to incomplete and incorrect coding. The research was done with complete enumeration and a quantitative research was conducted. As data collection tool in the study, 'Organizational Culture Scale' was used to measure the organizational culture of the employees, and 'Organizational Stress Scale' was used to measure the organizational stress perception level. The collected data was analyzed with SPSS 23 statistical software package. T-Test, ANOVA, Correlation and Regression analyzes were applied to these data. According to the results of the research, stress perception levels vary according to various demographic characteristics. However, the stress perception levels of employees do not show a significant difference according to age and positions. Moreover, innovative, bureaucratic ve Adhocracy oriented organizational cultures positively affects organizational stress related to occupation, structure and policy and role. Clan organizational culture negatively affects organizational stress related to occupation, structure and policy and role. Key Words: Innovative Culture, Clan Culture, Bureaucratic Culture, Adhocracy Culture, Occupational Stress, Stress Related to Structure and Policy, Stress Related to Role.
