The ovary is a complex multicomponent organ containing developing follicles. Changes in oocyte numbers and sizes have been noted in fertilization problems. An increase in follicle diameter is an important criterion in evaluating follicular growth. For this reason, stereological techniques state art and unbiased methods can be used to determine the morphology and numerical characteristics of the ovarian structure and components in the treatment of reproductive disorders associated with various diseases. This chapter explains the steps employed in the stereological methods used to determine the numerical properties of various components in ovarian tissue. © 2024 Nova Science Publishers, Inc.
