Sportif Başarıya Hasret: Samsunspor Örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı Samsunspor taraftarlarının uzun süre takımlarının Türkiye süper liginde yer alamaması ve Samsunspor kulübü kurulduğundan bu yana Türkiye süper liginde şampiyonluk başarısı elde edememesine ilişkin görüşlerinin incelenmesidir. Çalışma, Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden eylem araştırması modelindedir. Örneklem grubu,amaçlı örneklemeyönteminin bir çeşidi olan ölçüt örneklem türündedir. Örneklem grubunu 12 Samsunspor taraftar kitlesi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma süresince taraftar kitlesinin sportif başarıya hasret durumunu incelemek amacıyla Çankaya ve Kabataş (2020)tarafından hazırlanan 18 sorudan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formları aracılığıyla yüz yüze görüşmeler sağlanmıştır. Görüşme süresince veri kaybına sebebiyet vermemek amacıyla ses kayıtları alınmıştır. Alınan kayıtların yazıya dökümü gerçekleştirilmiş ve Nvivo programına aktarımı sağlanarak betimsel analiz yöntemi ile çözümlenmiştir. Taraftarların çoğunluğunda, fanatiklik durumunun takımı motive edici yönde olumlu etkilediği, hakemlerin tarafsız olmadıklarını, medyanın takımlarını desteklediği ve uzun süre şampiyon olunamaması durumunun şiddet eğilimini arttırmadıkları yönünde görüşlerinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bunlara ilaveten uzun süre şampiyon olunamaması durumunun taraftarların iş ve aile yaşantılarını olumsuz yönde etkilediği, takımlarının şampiyon olması durumunda şampiyonluğun şehirde büyük bir sevinç ve coşkuyla kutlanacağı fikri ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu araştırma sonuçlarına göre, doğru teknik direktör ve scout ekibi ile çalışma, ileriye dönük planlama ve doğru transferlerin yapılması ile şampiyonluğun yaşanabileceği şeklinde taraftarların görüş ve önerilerinin olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmaktadır.

The aim of this study is to examine the opinions of Samsunspor fans about their team's not being able to take part in the Turkish Super League for a long time and the team's not being able to become champion in the Turkish Super League since its establishment. During the study, face-to-face interviews were made through semi-structured interview forms which were including 18 questions and which were prepared by Çankaya and Kabataş (2020) in order to examine the state of longing for sport success. Voice recordings were taken during the interview in order not to cause loss of data. The records taken were transcribed, transferred to Nvivo program and analyzed with descriptive analysis method. It was found that most of the fans thought fanaticism affected the team positively in a motivating way, referees were not unbiased, media supported their team and the state of not becoming champion for a long time did not increase violence tendency. In addition to these, it was found that the state of not becoming champion for a long time had a negative effect on fans' work and family life, and the championship would be celebrated in the city with a great happiness and joy if their team became the champion. According to the results of this study, it was concluded that fans thought that championship would be possible by working with the correct coach and scout team, making future plans and accurate transfers.
