Lokalize Malign Mezotelyoma: Zor Tanı

Abstract

Lokalize malign mezotelyoma, malign mezotelyomanın çok nadir görülen bir formudur. Serozal ya da subserozal olarak tespit edilen lokalize kitle, mikroskopik olarak diffüz malign mezotelyomanın tüm karekteristik bulgularını taşır. Bu yazıda, toraks duvarında kitle nedeniyle başvuran ve bifazik mezotelyoma tanısı alan hasta sunuldu.Localized malignant mesothelioma is a rare form of malig- nant mesothelioma. It presents as a localized mass which is identified as serosal or subserosal and has all the characteris- tic microscopic findings of diffuse malignant mesotelioma. We evaluated a patient admitted with a thoracic wall mass which was later diagnosed as biphasic mesothelioma.
