dc.description.abstractThe synthesis and molecular structure of C<inf>19</inf>H <inf>15</inf>NO<inf>2</inf> was analyzed. It was found that the compound was nearly planar and adopts the ketone-amine tautomeric form with a strong intramolecular N-H···O hydrogen bond. The short C1-O1, C18-O2 and C2-C3, C5-C6, C7-C8 bonds were considered as C=O and C=C double bonds respectively which suggested the presence of a significant quinoidal effect. Results show that the dihedral angle between the rings A (atoms-C12-C17) and B(atoms C1-C10) is 10.98 (4)°.en_US
