Klasik-Modern Yorum Açısından Bilmen ve Ateş Tefsirlerinin Mukayesesi

Abstract

İslam dininin temel kaynağı olan Kur'an'ın anlaşılması ve pratiğe dökülmesi İslamî bir hayatın inşası için büyük önem arz etmektedir. Bu önemin farkında olan Müslüman ilim adamları Kur'an'ı anlama ve uygulama noktasında ortaya koydukları eserlerle çok zengin bir literatür oluşturmuşlardır. Bu literatürün en temel eserleri ise Kur'an'ı baştan sona bir düzen dâhilinde ele alıp yorumlayan tefsirlerdir.Kur'an'ı anlama ve uygulama noktasında tefsirlerin rolü yadsınamaz. Çünkü tefsirler hem Kur'an'ı doğru bir şekilde anlamanın anahtarı hem de onun mesajını zaman ve mekan mefhumu olmaksızın insanlara ulaştırmanın en iyi araçlarıdır. Bu nedenle her dönemde Kur'an'ı yeniden tefsir etme ihtiyacı hasıl olmuştur.Geçmiş dönemlerde telif edilen tefsirlerin muhatap kitlesi ilim erbabı iken, matbaanın icadı, kitaba ulaşımın kolaylığı ve okur-yazarlığın artması gibi sebeplerle son dönemlerde telif edilen tefsirlerin önemli bir bölümünde muhatap kitlesi olarak halk seçilmiştir. Bu bağlamda sadece cumhuriyet döneminde ülkemizde telif edilen tefsir sayısı yirmiyi aşmıştır. Telif edilen bu çalışmaların usul ve muhteva açısından incelenip okurların hizmetine sunulması ise önem arz eden bir husustur.Ülkemiz halkının tefsir ihtiyacına cevap vermek amacıyla kaleme alınan Bilmen ve Ateş tefsirlerinin mukayesesini konu edinen bu çalışma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde Allah Resûlü ile başlayan tefsir faaliyetinin günümüze kadar geçirmiş olduğu merhaleler, belli başlı tefsir metodları ve modern dönem tefsir ekolleri incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde mukayeseye esas aldığımız her iki müfessirin hayatları, eserleri, tefsir formasyonları ve tefsir metodları ele alınmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde ise her iki müfessirin Kur'an ilimlerine, fıkhî ve ilmî tefsire, ehli kitaba ve tartışmalı bazı meselelere yaklaşımları ele alınıp mukayese edilmiştir.Anahtar Kelimler: Ömer Nasuhi Bilmen, Süleyman Ateş, tefsir, klasik, modern.

It is of great importance to understand and practice the principles of the Qur?an, which is the major source of Islam, in order to adopt an Islamic lifestyle. Aware of this fact, Muslim scholars have created a rich literature related to understanding and practicing the teachings of the Qur?an. The main works that make up this literature are the thorough and detailed interpretations of the Qur?an according to firmly established principles peculiar to sxience of tafseer (the commentary on the Qur?an.)The role of exegesis in understanding and practicing the teachings of the Qur?an cannot be denied. Because not only do they play a key role in understanding the Qur?an correctly, but they are also the best means of making Its message accesable to all humanity regardless of time and place. For that reason, reinterpretation of the Qur?an had to be made time and time again throughout history.While the exegesis/tafseers published in the past were intended for scholars, due to the reasons such as invention of the printing press, easy acces to books and higher rate of literacy, a significant number of tafseers published in recent years are intended for the public in general. Thus, the number of exegesis/tafseers published during the republican period in our country is over twenty. It is crucial that these works should be meticulously checked in terms of the content and method before they are available to the readers.This study, which deals with the comparative study of the tafseers by Bilmen and Ateş in order to satisfy the needs of people for tafseer, is made up of three chapters. The first chapter covers both the studies on tafseer begining with the Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) and the stages they have gone through since then, and the main methods of tafseer and the modern schools on tafseer. The second chapter covers the lives, works, methods and formations/educations of the two commentators. The third chapter covers examination and comparative study of the views of these two commentators about the knowledge of the Qur?an, the scientific tafseer, the tafseer of Muslim canonical jurisprudece, people of the Book and some cotroversial issues.Key words: Omar Nasuhi Bilmen, Suleyman Ates, tafseer, classical, modern.
