Büyük Selçuklu Döneminden Osmanlı Yönetimine Kadar Amasya Tarihi

Abstract

Amasya, sahip olduğu stratejik konumu sebebiyle pek çok devletin ele geçirmek istediği bir yerdir. Türkler de Amasya'ya hakim olmak isteyen topluluklar içerisinde yer alır. Ortaya koyduğumuz çalışmanın amacı Amasya'nın Büyük Selçuklu İmparatorluğu döneminden Osmanlı hakimiyetine geçişine kadar geçirmiş olduğu siyasi evre ve Amasya'nın sahip olduğu stratejik önemi ortaya koyarak bir bütünlük oluşturmaktır. Çalışmamız giriş bölümü dışında üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde Selçuklu öncesi şehrin kısa bir tarihçesi ortaya konulmuş olup çalışmanın ana bölümünü ikinci ve üçüncü bölümler oluşturmaktadır. İkinci bölümde şehrin Türkler tarafından fethi meydana gelen önemli siyasi gelişmeler ortaya konulmuş olup; üçüncü bölümde ise Moğol dönemi Amasyası ile ilgili meydana gelen gelişmeler ve şehrin Osmanlı Devleti hakimiyetine girişi ortaya konulmuştur. By reason of its strategic position throughout history, Amasya has become an important city where it draws attention of both many states and Turkish people and it is the primary city where they want to conquer. The aim of this study is the political stage of Amasya from the era of Great Seljuk Empire to the transition of Ottoman Sovereignty and to form completeness by presenting its strategic importance. This study is formed of three parts apart from introduction part. In the first part, a brief history of city before Seljuk Era is presented besides second and third parts present the main part. In the second part, the conquest of the city by Turkish people and important political developments are presented and lastly in the third part, developments that occur about Amasya in Mogul Era and that the city comes under Ottoman domination are presented.
