Publication: Hemşirelerde Kanıta Dayalı Uygulama Eğilimi ve Hemşirelik Tanılarını Algılama Düzeyinin Belirlenmesi
Abstract
Verilerin analizinde ortalama, standart sapma, Shapiro-Wilk testi, bağımsız gruplar arası t testi, regresyon (Stepwise Regression) analizi, varyans analizi (F testi), pearson korelasyon analizi, kullanılmıştır.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the evidence-based practice tendencies and perception levels of nursing diagnoses of nurses. Materials and Methods: The research, which was designed as a descriptive relational study, was carried out between December 2021 and August 2022 with nurses working in different units of a state hospital and university hospital. The sample in the study was 150 nurses with 80% power, 0.2 effect level and 0.05 margin of error in the G-Power 3.1.9.7 program, it was carried out with 400 nurses who volunteered to participate in our research. Data; 'Personal Information Form' was collected with 'Evidence-Based Attitude towards Nursing Scale' (EBNAQ) and 'Nursing Diagnostics Perception Scale' (NDPS). Data collection tools were delivered to nurses online via 'Google Forms'. Mean, standard deviation, Shapiro-Wilk test, independent intergroup t test, Stepwise Regression analysis, Analysis of variance (F test), Pearson correlation analysis were used in the analysis of the data. A value of p<0.05 was accepted as the level of significance in the entire study. Results: In the study, it was seen that the EBNAQ general and all subgroups mean scores of the nurses differed positively, and the attitudes of the nurses towards evidence-based practices were positive. In addition, it was found that the nurses did not differ according to the descriptive characteristics of the EBNAQ nurses. The NDPS general and sub-dimension mean scores of the nurses were found to be quite high and it was seen that the NDPS nurses were affected by their educational status and working position in the hospital. A 6.9 correlation was found in the same direction between the EBNAQ total score and the NDPS total score. Conclusion: Nurses' evidence-based practices and nursing diagnoses perception levels were found to be high and it was concluded that they were positively affected by each other. According to the results of the research, suggestions were made for application, management and research.
