Abstract
The title compound, C<inf>4</inf>H<inf>14</inf>N<inf>2</inf> O2+·HPO<inf>4</inf>2-·H<inf>2</inf>O, contains alternating interleaved layers of hydrogenphosphate and N-(2-hydroxyethyl)ethylenediammonium moieties. The water molecules are associated with channel-like voids in the structure and a network of hydrogen bonds stabilizes the crystal packing.
