Dentigeröz Kist: Bir Olgu Sunumu

Abstract

Dentigeröz kistler, dişlerin kuronu ile ilişkili diş kaynaklı iyi huylu kistlerdir. Dentigeröz kistlerin histogenezisi tam olarak bilinmemektedir. Ancak diş folikülünden orjin alan gelişimsel dentigeröz kistler ve inflamatuar dentigeröz kistler olmak üzere iki tip kist oluşumundan bahsedilmektedir. Bu olgu raporunun amacı; 7 yaşındaki çocuk hastada alt çene ikinci küçük azı dişilideki dentigeröz kisti sunmak ve inflamatuar periapikal lezyonlu, yaygın çürüklü ya da kök kanal tedavili süt dişleri ile ilişkide bulunan daimi dişlerin düzenli radyografik takiplerinin önemini vurgulamaktır.

Dentigerous cysts are benign odontogenic cysts associated with the crowns of the teeth. The exact histogenesis of dentigerous cysts remains unknown, but some authors consider the existence of 2 types of dentigerous cysts: one developmental, originating from, a tooth follicle and the other inflammatory in nature. The purpose of this case report is to present a dentigerous cyst in mandibular second premolar in a 7 year old child patient. Also, it aims to emphasize the importance of careful radiographic follow-up of unerupted teeth associated with deciduous teeth having periapical inflammatory lesions, severe caries or root canal therapy.
