dc.description.abstractSexual assault victims generally attend to health care institutions or judicial authorities at first. For this reason, doing the initial assessment and adequate medicolegal approach to these patients is essential in these institutions. Physicians and law enforcement officers should have adequate knowledge and attitude toward sexual assault cases. All doctors and other health staff must be educated for being competent in performing the emergency medical approach and medicolegal interventions. Computer-based education can be a good choice in learning adequate medical approach to sexual assault cases.en_US
