dc.description.abstractCollege students and prospective teachers generally do not have appropriate reasoning abilities (Akerson, & Volrich, 2006; Bell, Blair, Crawford, & Lederman, 2003; Brickhous, Dagher, Letts, & Shipman, 2000; Lawson, 1995; Lawson, 2005; Quitadamo, & Kurtz, 2007). Because scientific prosses skills and reasoning abilities relate each other, the more quality reasoning abilities students and prospective teachers achieve, the more effective scientific process skills they use. Due to both National Research Council (1996) and recently The Ministry of Education have given a matter preferential consideration scientific process skills, in teacher training, especially in science teaching; development of scientific process skills and reasoning abilities have become important. Open ended experiments and minds on activeties have a central role on development of mentioned skills and abilities.en_US
