Abstract

Kişinin ruhsal ya da toplumsal sebepler yüzünden hayatına son verme girişimi ya da kendini öldürmesi olarak tanımlanan intihar, çok değişik metodlarla gerçekleştirilmektedir. Bugüne kadar uygulanmış çok çeşitli intihar yöntemi olup kişiler en kolay ulaşabildiği yöntemle intihara kalkışmaktadır. Bu yöntemler içerisinde ası sonucu ölümler de büyük bir yer tutmaktadır. Özkıyım girişiminde bulunan ya da bulunacak kişilerin mektuplarında; ölümden sonrasının planlanması, vasiyetnamelerinin yazılmış olması, mal varlıklarının dağıtılmasını istemeleri, mektuplarındaki suçlamaların, özür dilemenin şiddeti girişimin ciddiyetinin işaretidir. Ası sonucu meydana gelen ölüm olguları, her zaman adli nitelikteki ölümler içerisinde yer almakta olup Adli bir soruşturmayı ve otopsi yapılmasını gerektiren durumlardandır. Araştırmanın ilk aşamasında ölümün intihar ya da cinayet sonucu meydana gelip gelmediğinin belirlenmesi son derece önemlidir. Bu makalede; ası yoluyla not bırakarak kendi evinin kapısında intihar eden erişkin bir erkeğin ellerini bağlamak için kullandığı ve literatürde rastlamadığımız yöntem ilginç bulunarak sunulmuştur.

Suicide, which is described as a person's attempt to end his/her own life or as self-slaughter due to mental or social reasons, is done by many different methods. There are many different suicide methods that have been tried so far and people attempt for suicide by methods they can easily attain. Deaths by hanging have a big place among these methods. In the letters of the people who attempt or will attempt self-slaughter; plans after their death, having their wills prepared, wishes to have their assets distributed, the intensity of the accusations and apologies are all a sign of the seriousness of the attempt. Death cases which occur as a result of hanging are always judicial deaths and they are cases which require judicial investigation and autopsy. In the first stage of the investigation, it is exteremely crucial to determine whether the death was as a result of suicide or murder. In this article, a method to tie hands used by an adult male who committed suicide on his own house's door by hanging after leaving a note has been presented because the method has not been found in the literature and it has been considered interesting.
