İlköğretim öğretmen adaylarının küresel ısınma konusundaki görüşleri

Abstract

Bu araştırma, dünyayı tehdit eden bir çevre sorunu olan küresel ısınma konusunda İlköğretim öğretmen adaylarının konuyla ilgili algı, görüş ve düşüncelerinin saptanması amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma; 10 ilköğretim öğretmen adayı ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada veriler, yüz yüze sözlü görüşmeler ile toplanmıştır. Toplanan nitel veriler betimsel analiz tekniğiyle analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, öğretmen adaylarının küresel ısınmanın olası sonuçlarından endişe duydukları ve çevresel problemler konusunda yeterli bilgi ve donanıma sahip olmadıkları görülmektedir. Öğretmen adaylarının, sera etkisi, ozon tabakası problemi, asit yağmurları gibi çevre problemleri arasında yanlış neden-sonuç ilişkisi kurdukları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Through this research, it has been aimed to determine the perceptions, opinions and ideas of pre-service elementary teachers about global warming which is an environmental problem that threatens the world. This research was applied to 10 pre-service elementary teachers. The data in the research were collected through face-to-face oral interviews. Collected qualitative data were analyzed with descriptive analysis technique. According to the results of the research, it was observed that pre-service teachers worried about the possible outcomes of global warming and were not equipped with sufficient information about environmental problems. It was concluded that preservice teachers established the false cause-effect relationship between the environmental problems such as greenhouse effect, ozone layer problem, acid rain.
