Temel sağlık hizmetlerinde çalışan ebelerin iletişim Becerileri

Abstract

Amaç: Bu araştırma temel sağlık hizmetlerinde çalışan ebelerin iletişim becerilerini incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı olarak yapılan bu araştırma 01.03.2008-01.05.2008 tarihleri arasında Ordu il merkezindeki 6 sağlık ocağı ile bir aile planlaması merkezinde, 100 ebe ile yürütülmüştür. Veriler "Kişisel Bilgi Formu" ve "İletişim Becerileri Envanteri" aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde t testi ve korelasyon analizi, normal dağılım göstermeyen verilerin analizinde ise Mann-Whitney U testi ile Kruskal Wallis testleri kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Ebelerin temel sağlık hizmetlerinde ortalama çalışma süresi 14 yıldır. Ebelerin %71inin her zaman sağlık eğitimi yaptığı, %53ünün iletişimle ilgili bilgi aldığı, %75.5 inin özel bir kurstan iletişimle ilgili bilgi aldığı saptanmıştır. Ebelerin %62si halka sağlık eğitimi verirken iletişimle ilgili sorun yaşadığını belirtmiştir. Her zaman sağlık eğitimi yapan ebelerin iletişim becerilerinin daha iyi olduğu saptanmıştır (p0.001). İletişimle ilgili bilgi alan ebelerin iletişim becerilerinin almayanlara göre daha yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Bu araştırmada her zaman sağlık eğitimi veren ebelerin iletişim becerilerinin arasıra verenlere göre daha yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur.

The Effect of Communication Skills of The Midwives Working for Basic Health Services on Their Status Relating to Training People About Health Objective: This research was carried out to examine the communication skills of midwives working in primary health care. Method: This descriptive study was conducted between 01.03.2008-01.05.2008 dates at 6 health centers in the Ordu city center and a family planning center. Research was conducted with 100 midwives. Data "Personal Information Form" and "Communication Skills Inventory" was collected through. At evaluation of the data were used t test, and correlation analysis, non-normal distribution of data in the analysis with the Mann- Whitney U test, Kruskal Wallis test. Results: Midwives in primary health care average working time for 14 years. 71% of midwives always made health education, communication-related information has received 53%, 75.5% in a special course-related information received from the communication has been identified. 62% of midwives were noted having communication-related problems while public health education. Always make health education and communication skills of midwives who were found to be better (p <0.001). Communication-related fields of information communication skills of midwives were found to be higher than the non-received. Conclusion: : In this research, health education is always the occasional communication skills of the midwives were found to be higher than the lenders
