Servikal lenfadenit sonrası adenit sonrası gelişen tortikollis

Abstract

Tortikollis, oksiputun omuza doğru rotasyonu ve çenenin diğer omuza doğru dönerek elevasyonu ile karakterize bir postür bozukluğudur. Çocukluk çağında en sık görülen tipleri, doğum sırasında sternokleidomastoid kas hasarı sonucu gelişen müsküler tortikollis ve üst solunum yolu enfeksiyonu, servikal lenfadenitya da minör travmalar sonucu gelişen atlanto-aksiel rotator fiksasyondur. Burada servikal lenfadenit direnajı sonrasında gelişen ve fizik tedavi ile hızla düzelen bir tortikollis olgusu sunulmuştur.

Tortikollis refers to the head, being tipped to one side with the occiput rotated toward the shoulder and the chin rotated to the opposite direction and elevated. The most common type presented during childhood is the one which usually occurs at birth, from a suspected injury to the sternokleidomastoid muscle, described as musculer torticollis and atlantoaxial rotator fixation followed by upper respiratory tract infection, cervical adenitis or minor travma. In this case, we report a patient, who developed torticollis after the drainage of cervical lymphadenitis and respond very rapidly to the physical therapy.
