Nörosarkoidoz: Olgu sunumu

Abstract

Nörosarkoidoz nadir görülen, özellikle sistemik bulguların olmadığı olgularda tanısı oldukça zor konulan bir hastalıktır. Sıklıkla santral sinir sisteminin diğer hastalıklarını taklit eder. Semptom ve bulgular granülomun büyüklüğü ve lokalizasyonuna göre değişir. Tüm kranial sinirlerde izole veya birlikte, çoğunlukla da fasiyal ve optik sinirlerin tutulumu şeklinde görülür. Bu çalışmada aynı anda II,III,IV,V,VI ve VII. kranial sinir tutulumu görülen, sistemik bulgusu olmayan, optik sinirde menenjiyomu düşündüren kitlesi olan bir nörosarkoidoz olgusu sunuldu.

Neurosarcoidosis is a rare disease and its diagnosis is very difficult especially when systemic findings do not exist . It often mimics other pathologic processes of the central nervous system. Signs and symptoms of neurosarcoidosis are variable and depend on location and size of granulomas. Cranial nerves are often involved in neurosarcoidosis as isolated or several nerves together, with the most frequent being the facial nerve and optic nerve. In this study, a neurosarcoidosis case who had multiple cranial nerve palsy (II,III,IV,V,VI, VII. cranial nerves) and a mass on the optic nerve that mimics optic nerve sheath menengioma, was presented.
