Gelir Durumunun Risk Algısına Etki Eden Diğer Sosyo -Ekonomik ve Demografik Faktörler Üzerindeki Etkisi

Abstract

Sosyo-ekonomik faktörlerin risk algısı üzerindeki etkilerinin araştırıldığı çalışmalarda farklı sonuçların elde edildiği görülmektedir. Bu durumun, sosyo -ekonomik ve demografik faktörlerin kendileri arasındaki etkileşimden kaynaklandığı düşünülmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye'de minimum 7.000TL ve üzeri gelire sahip yatınmcılann, risk algısına etki eden faktörlerden biri olan gelir seviyesinin, yine risk algısı üzerinde etkili olan diğer sosyo ekonomik ve demografik faktörler üzerindeki etkisinin incelenmesidir. Bu bağlamda; Samsun' da yaşayan ve aylık gelir seviyesi en az 7.000TL olan, 100 kişiye yüz yüze anket uygulanmıştır. Yapılan analizler neticesinde çok yüksek gelir seviyesine sahip bireyler açısından yaş, eğitim ve medeni durum faktörlerinin risk algısı üzerindeki etkisinin ortadan kalktığını, bununla birlikte cinsiyet, meslek ve finansal bilgi seviyesi faktörlerinin ise risk algısı üzerindeki etkilerinin güçlü bir şekilde varlığını sürdürdüğü tespit edilmiştir.

It is observed that the results of the studies investigating the socio-economic factors on the risk perception are various. This state is considered to be resulted from the interaction between the socio-economic and the demographic factors .The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of income level (which is one o f the factors affecting the risk perception) on socio-economic and demographic factors (which are the other factors affecting the risk perception) for investors who have income of 7.000 TL and higher in Turkey. In this context, a survey has been conducted with 100 individuals who are living in Samsun and have monthly income of at least 7.000TL. The analyze of the data obtained in this survey showed that the effects of the factors of age, education and marital status on risk perception are eliminated; moreover gender, and level of professional and financial information have been still identified as the existed factors having a strong impact on risk perception.
