Teachers' adherence levels to the classroom management principles
Özet
The purpose of this study is to determine teachers' adherence levels to the classroom management principles based on student perceptions. Data for this survey study were collected from 569 students of 3 primary, 3 middle and 3 high schools that were randomly selected from 23 schools in Artvin city center during the 2014-2015 academic year. Teachers' Classroom Management Principles Compliance Levels Determination Rating Scale was used as the data collection instrument. Results indicate that perceptions were at the "high" level and no difference existed between students' perceptions of teachers' proficiency in classroom management and gender, but a statistically significant difference existed between the perceptions and educational level. This finding suggests that high school students had lower perceptions than primary and middle school students.
