A complication of temporary subclavian vein haemodialysis catheter: Vena cava superior injury

Abstract

Haemodialysis catheters used in the treatment of renal failure can cause very serious complications. Therefore, selection of the appropriate vein, and application of the intervention under ultrasound (US) guidance, carry vital importance.
