Concha bullosa, defined as the pneumatization of the middle concha in variable degrees, is a notable anatomic variation of the lateral nasal wall within the nasal passage. Although it is generally asypmtomatic, it may become symptomatic with respect to the size of pneumatization and its relation with the osteomeatal complex and nasal septum. It may cause nasal obstruction, sinusitis, postnasal rainage, headache and olfactory disorders. It may be diagnosed by anterior rhinoscopic or endoscopic examinations and computerized tomography of paranasal sinuses. Endoscopic partial lateral resection of the middle concha is an adequate and minimally invasive method for treatment. In this manuscript, we reported a unilateral giant concha bullosa extending up to the nasal vestibule which presented with nasal obstruction. The lesion had a malignant appearance at first observation. ©Copyright 2011 by Gazi University Medical Faculty.en_US
