The factors affecting the job satisfaction of emergency staffs at Ondokuz Mayis University Hospital
Abstract
Emergency staffs are under continuously stress at work because of many factors such as, the annoyance of patient relatives, the lack of the hospitalization of the patients because of insufficient capacity of the departments and, economic problems. In the course of time, these factors can disturb the relations among emergency staff and reduce job productivity. Burn-out syndrome characterized by lost of professional enthusiasm and occupational satisfaction, and also negative behavioral approach against the patients, is the end-point of this period. In this study, we evaluated the stress factors, which are encountered among emergency staff at Ondokuz Mayis University Hospital.
