Amatör futbolcuların yeni tip Covid-19'a yakalanma kaygılarının incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı amatör futbolcuların yeni tip korona virüse yakalanma kaygılarının araştırılması ve incelenmesidir. Yeni Tip COVİD-19 ülkemizde görüldüğü tarihten bu yana oynanmayan amatör ligler, sporcuları maddi ve manevi olarak oldukça zor durumda bırakmıştır. Bu çalışmada amatör futbolcuların kaygı durumlarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Materyal ve Metot: Araştırmaya, Samsun ilinde bulunan amatör futbol kulüplerinde oynayan 18-40 yaş aralığındaki toplam 187 sporcu katılmıştır. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak Tekkurşun Demir vd., (2020) tarafından geliştirilen "Sporcuların Yeni Tip Koronavirüse (Covid-19) Yakalanma Kaygısı Ölçeği (SYTKYKÖ)" kullanılmıştır. Ölçek 16 madde ve 2 faktörden oluşmaktadır. Bulgular: Yaş gruplarına göre futbolcuların SYTKYKÖ puanları karşılaştırıldığında gruplar arasında fark yoktur (p>0,05). Spor yılına göre futbolcuların SYTKYKÖ puanları karşılaştırıldığında bireysel kaygı ile toplam kaygı puanlarında 3-14 yıl olanlar 15 yıl ve üzeri olanlardan daha yüksek puana sahip olarak bulunmuştur (p<0,05). Eğitim durumuna göre futbolcuların SYTKYKÖ puanları karşılaştırıldığında bireysel ve toplam kaygı puanlarında lisansüstü eğitim seviyesinde olan futbolcular lise ve lisans mezunu olanlardan yüksek puana sahiptir (p<0,05). Maddi duruma göre futbolcuların SYTKYKÖ puanları karşılaştırıldığında gruplar arasında fark yoktur (p>0,05). Sonuç: Sonuç olarak futbolcuların yeni tip koronovirüse yakalanma kaygısı ile spor yaşları arasında bir ilişki olduğu STYKYKÖ puanları karşılaştırıldığında 15 yıl ve üzeri sporculuk geçmişi olanların koronavirüse yakalanma kaygı ve endişelerinin 3-14 yıl spor geçmişi olanlara göre daha az olduğu belirlenmiştir. Eğitim durumuna göre ise lisansüstü eğitim seviyesinde olanlar, lise ve lisans mezunlarına göre daha kaygılı tespit edilmiştir. Bu sonuçlar nazarında spor yaşı az olanların covid 19 nedeniyle ertelenen liglerden dolayı kariyerlerinin gelişimi açısından kaygı duydukları düşünülebilir. Lisansüstü eğitim seviyesinde olanların ise akademik kariyerleri için yapacakları çalışmalara koronavirüsün engel teşkil etme olasılığı kaygı düzeylerini artırmış olabilir. Bu sebeple sporcuların bu dönemlerde mental açıdan destek almaları tavsiye edilebilir.

This study aims to investigate and examine the anxiety of amateur football players about catching the new type of coronavirus. The amateur leagues, which have not been played since the new type of COVID-19 appeared in our country, have left the athletes in a very difficult situation financially and morally. This study, it is aimed to examine the anxiety status of amateur football players. Materials and Methods: A total of 187 athletes between 18-40, playing in amateur football clubs in Samsun, participated in the research. Tekkurşun Demir et al., (2020) "Athletes' Anxiety of Conceiving New Type Coronavirus (Covid-19) Scale (SYTKYKÖ)" was used. The scale consists of 16 items and 2 factors. Results: There was no difference between the groups when the SYTKYRS scores of the football players were compared according to age groups (p>0.05). When the SYTKYKO scores of the football players were compared according to the sports year, it was found that those with 3-14 years of individual anxiety and total anxiety scores had higher scores than those who were 15 years and above (p<0.05). When the SYTKYKo scores of the football players are compared according to their education level, the football players who are at the postgraduate level have higher scores than the high school and undergraduate graduates in individual and total anxiety scores (p<0.05). When the SYTKYKO scores of the football players were compared according to their financial situation, there was no difference between the groups (p>0.05). Discussion: As a result, new types of players that there is a relationship between the ages of sports with the anxiety of getting coronavirus STYKYKO scores compared to those diagnosed with coronavirus 15 years and over in her past history of sports 3-14 years were less than those with anxiety and concern. According to the educational status, those who are at the level of postgraduate education were found to be more anxious than high school and undergraduate graduates. In view of these results, it can be considered that those who are under the age of sports are concerned about the development of their careers due to the leagues postponed due to COVID 19. On the other hand, the possibility that the coronavirus may be an obstacle to the studies that those at the graduate education level will do for their academic careers may have increased their anxiety levels. For this reason, it may be recommended that athletes receive mental support during these periods.
