Postyapısalcı yaklaşımlar ve eleştirel düşünce ile ilişkisinde postmodern estetik

Abstract

“Postyapısalcı Yaklaşımlar ve Eleştirel Düşünce İle İlişkisinde Postmodern Estetik” başlıklı bu çalışma; postyapısalcı yaklaşımlar ile bu yaklaşımlar zemininde yer alan eleştirel düşüncenin, son 50-60 yıl içerisinde postmodern sanat ve estetik üzerinde meydana getirdiği epistemolojik ve pratik değişimlerin aydınlatılması amaçlamaktadır. Bununla birlikte postyapısalcı yaklaşımlar ve eleştirel düşünce ışığında postmodernizm kavramının estetik ile temasları ve postmodern estetik kapsamında gerçekleştirilen sanat pratiklerinin postyapısalcı düşünceler perspektifinden ele alınması bu çalışmanın ortaya çıkış düşüncesini oluşturmuştur. Postyapısalcı yaklaşımlar 1950-1960’lı yıllarda Fransız teorisyenler ve düşünürler tarafından ortaya konulmuş, belirli bir yönelimi olmaksızın eleştirel düşünce pratiğinde toplumbilim, göstergebilim, dilbilim, felsefe ve siyasi kuramlar gibi pek çok alanda gerçekleştirilen araştırmalar için başlıca yaklaşım biçimlerinden biri olmuştur. Toplumsal, ekonomik, sosyolojik, kültürel, ideolojik vd. alanlarda eleştirel yönüyle sınırsız ifade biçimi sergilemesi dolayısıyla postmodern dönemin de bir yansıması olarak kabul edilmektedir. Postmodernizmin ve postyapısalcılığın bu birlikteliğinin bir sonucu olarak etkileri sanat ve estetikte de tezahür etmektedir. Postmodern dönemin ve postyapısalcı yaklaşımlarla belirmiş olan eleştirel düşüncenin gündeme getirmiş olduğu çoklu düşünce, çeşitlilik, belirsizlik ve sınırsızlık, sanat ve estetik alanında da çeşitli anlayışları meydana getirmiştir. Bu dönemin sanatsal yaratımlarının, dönemin toplumsal, kültürel ve politik uzantılarına temellendiği, kültür, kimlik ve beden; küreselleşme ve politika; popüler kültür, tüketim estetiği ve teknoloji gibi kavramların bu yaratımlar üzerinde belirleyici olduğu görülmüştür. Postmodern estetiği derinlemesine tasnif edebilmek adına, bu kavramlar üzerine eleştirel düşünceyi ihtiva eden postyapısalcılık büyük bir öneme sahiptir. Bu çalışmanın genel amacı doğrultusunda, modernizm ve postmodernizm kavramlarına değinildikten sonra postyapısalcı yaklaşımlar ve eleştirel düşünce irdelenmiştir. Postyapısalcı yaklaşımlar ve eleştirel düşünce üzerinden postmodern estetiğe dair detaylı bir analiz yapılarak, bu ilişki seyrinde postmodern estetik ile okunabilen sanatsal ifade olanakları üzerinde durulmuştur. Çalışma, konuyu örneklemeye elverişli olduğu düşünülen görsel materyallerle desteklenmiştir.

This study titled "Postmodern Aesthetics in Relation to Poststructuralist Approaches and Critical Thinking"; poststructuralist approaches and the epistemological and practical changes that critical thinking on the basis of these approaches have brought about on postmodern art and aesthetics in the last 50-60 years aim to be elucidated. In addition to this, in the light of poststructuralist approaches and critical thinking, the contacts of the concept of postmodernism with aesthetics and the discussion of art practices realized within the scope of postmodern aesthetics from the perspective of poststructuralist thoughts formed the emergence thought of this study. Poststructuralist approaches were introduced by French theorists and thinkers in the 1950s-1960s and became one of the main approaches for research in many fields such as sociology, semiotics, linguistics, philosophy and political theories in the practices of critical thinking without a specific orientation. It is accepted as a reflection of the postmodern period due to its unlimited form of expression in the fields of social, economic, sociological, cultural, ideological etc. in a critical aspect. As a result of this union of postmodernism and poststructuralism, its effects are also manifested in art and aesthetics. Multiple ideas, diversity, uncertainty and limitlessness, brought to the agenda by the postmodern period and critical thinking that emerged with poststructuralist approaches, have also created various understandings in the field of art and aesthetics. The artistic creations of this period are based on the social, cultural and political extensions of the period, culture, identity and body; globalization and politics; It has been seen that concepts such as popular culture, consumption aesthetics and technology are decisive on these creations. In order to classify postmodern aesthetics in depth, poststructuralism, which includes critical thinking on these concepts, has a great importance. In line with the general purpose of this study, after referring to the concepts of modernism and postmodernism, poststructuralist approaches and critical thinking were examined. A detailed analysis of postmodern aesthetics was made through poststructuralist approaches and critical thinking, and in the process of this relation, the possibilities of artistic expression that can be read with postmodern aesthetics were emphasized. The study was supported by visual materials that were thought to be conducive to illustrating the subject.
