Öğretim elemanlarının güncel sanat eğitimindeki yeni yönelimler hakkındaki görüşleri

Abstract

Eğitim, birçok olgu gibi sistemli ve programlı bir oluşumdur. Yaşantımızın her anında formal veya informal olarak karşımıza çıkan bu süreç tüm yönleriyle insanı eğitmeyi hedefler. Bahsedilen eğitim süreci her dönemde değişen toplum yapısı ve ihtiyaçlara bağlı olarak değişim gösterir. Böylece ihtiyaçlardan kaynaklanan sanat, eğitim ile birleşince dönemin değişen ihtiyaçlarını karşılamayı hedefler. Gelişen teknoloji ve değişen yaşam şartları ile beraber sanat kavramı da değişime uğramış; yeni teknik, malzeme, araç ve gereçler kullanarak farklı biçimlerde karşımıza çıkmaya başlamıştır. Bu süreçte sanat oluşumuna neden olan düşünceler de değişmiş, geçmiş dönemde olan estetik kaygılar yerini farklı algı ve arayışlara bırakmıştır. Teknolojinin sanat dünyasına girmesiyle sanatçılara birçok imkan doğmuş ve yaşanan bu alternatifler sanat eğitimine de yansımıştır. Bilgisayar, video, ışık, ses gibi birçok unsur teknolojinin sunduğu yeni ifade biçimleriyle sanatın üretim ve öğretim aşamasına farklı bir algı boyutu kazandırmıştır. Türkiye’de resim öğretmeni yetiştiren kurumların güncel sanat eğitimi programı incelenmiş ve lisans düzeyinde verilen sanat eğitimi bu alanda uzman akademisyenlerin görüşleri ile karşılaştırılmıştır. Konu kapsamında yeterli literatürün bulunmaması açısından, bu tezin birçok araştırmaya kaynak oluşturması hedeflenmiştir. Konu kapsamında yapılan araştırmalar sanat eğitiminin günümüzde ve gelecekteki yeri, işlevi ve hedeflerini bu alanda uzman akademisyenlerle görüşülerek sanat eğitimi bağlamında yeni yönelimler hakkındaki düşüncelerini ve elde edilen verileri açıklamak üzere yazılmıştır. Ülkemizde sanat eğitiminin gelişimi ve sorunları incelenmiştir ayrıca bu sorunlara ilişkin araştırmalar uzmanların görüşleri kapsamında sonuçlanmıştır. Eğitim sistemi içerisinde yer alan güncel sanat eğitimi neleri kapsamaktadır ve yeni yönelimler nelerdir soruları, günümüzde bu alanda uzmanlaşmış sanat eğitimcilerinin görüşleri doğrultusunda değerlendirilmiş ve literatür de yazılı bilgiler ile paralel olarak uzman görüşlerinin yanıtları da günümüz sanat eğitiminin yeterli gelişmişlik düzeyine sahip olamadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Education, like many other phenomena, is a systematic and programmed formation. This process, which we encounter in every moment of our lives, formally or informally, aims to educate people in all its aspects. The education process mentioned changes depending on the changing society structure and needs in each period. Thus, art, arising from needs, combined with education, aims to meet the changing needs of the period. With the developing technology and changing living conditions, the concept of art has also changed; started to appear in different forms by using new techniques, materials, tools and equipment. In this process, the ideas that led to the formation of art also changed, and the aesthetic concerns of the past period left their place to different perceptions and searches. With the entry of technology into the world of art, many opportunities have arisen for artists and these alternatives have also been reflected in art education. Many elements such as computer, video, light and sound have brought a different perception dimension to the production and teaching phase of art with the new expression forms offered by technology. The contemporary art education program of the institutions that train art teachers in Turkey was examined and the art education given at the undergraduate level was compared with the opinions of the academicians who are experts in this field. In view of the lack of sufficient literature on the subject, it is aimed that this thesis will be a source for many researches. The researches carried out within the scope of the subject were written to explain the current and future place, function and goals of art education, by interviewing expert academicians in this field, and to explain their thoughts and data about new trends in art education. The development and problems of Art Education in our country have been examined, and the research on these problems has been concluded within the scope of the opinions of the experts. The questions of what contemporary art education includes in the education system and what are the new trends have been evaluated in line with the opinions of art educators who are specialized in this field today, and the answers of the expert opinions in parallel with the written information in the literature have been concluded that today's art education does not have a sufficient level of development
