Studies on electrical properties of galena ore pellets
Özet
This study was carried out on galena ore from the Rajasthan mine of India. From this ore, pellets were prepared at the different applied pressure, temperature and sintering time. Their electrical resistance and the thermoelectric power were measured after sintering of the samples at different temperature and time. It was observed that at constant pressure the electrical resistance of the sample increased with the increase in sintering temperature but thermoelectric power decreased. Scanning electron microscopy of (SEM) was used to investigate the changes in microstructure of surfaces at the applied pressure when the sintering temperature and time was kept constant. -Author
