Atopic dermatitis
Özet
Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a common and chronic dermatosis characterized by erythema, papules, vesicules, oozing and severe itching. It commonly begins in infancy but may also begin later. A family history of atopic disease is observed in most individuals with AD, and patients with this disease are greatly increased risk for developing asthma and allergic rhinitis. Although the basic mechanisms have not been explained yet, IgE mediated tissue injuries play an important role in the pathogenesis of AD. As a common childhood health problem AD has been reviewed in this paper with immunologic and clinical points.
