Fuzzy Logic Based Low Cost Smart Home Application
Özet
Controlling and monitoring home electrical network smarter form the basis of Smart Grid technology while providing solutions for energy crisis. The aim of this study is implementation of a low-cost intelligent controller system for Smart Homes by using fuzzy logic calculations as an application of home automation and MV network demand management. The controller gets energy meter measurements, temperature, humidity and luminosity values as an input and calculates outputs for managing electrical network of related house. It also calculates the electrical bill and tries to manage electrical equipment inside home for saving the electrical bill. The proposed controller first created and tested in MATLAB environment and then implemented in Arduino microcontroller. Each slave module communicates remotely with main module and NRF24L01 RF module is used for this purpose. © 2019 Chamber of Turkish Electrical Engineers.
