dc.description.abstractElectron paramagnetic resonance of gamma-irradiated single crystals of 3-hydroxyquinuclidine carboxylic acid-(3) hemihydrate were investigated at room temperature and at 130 K. The paramagnetic species was attributed to the (CH2)(3)N(CH2)(2)COHCOOH radical. The principal values of the hyperfine coupling tensor of the unpaired electron with the methylene protons, and the principal values of the g tensor were determined. The results were found to be in good agreement with the existing literature data and theoretical predictions. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.en_US
