Nitrogen oxide emissions from combustion - A model for computing of NOx emissions from homogenly premixed gas turbine burners
Özet
Nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions become emitted additionally to carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons in gas turbines with gaseous and liquid fuels. The technique of prevaporizing and premixing of fuel has proven to be a very efficient measure to reduce NOx emissions. A simplified mathematical model which separates combustion and NOx formation is presented for predicting NOx emissions. The model firstly computes the flow of combustion products by numerical solution of transport equations, and then NOx formation is calculated from the residence time distribution obtained from the flow.
