Abstract

In the title compound, C6H18N2O22+center dot 2C(2)Cl(3)O(2)(-), the cation possesses a twofold rotation axis passing through the midpoint of the central C-C bond. Hydrogen-bonded rings are formed by two cations and two anions. The ions further form a three-dimensional network via N-H center dot center dot center dot O and N-H center dot center dot center dot Cl hydrogen bonds.
