dc.description.abstract | This study compares traditional instruction and instruction via 3D models and hands-on activities aimed at students understanding of daily life applications of pressure in liquids. The research design was a quasi-experimental one with a control group. The study was completed with 30 students enrolled in a middle school in Turkey. The data were obtained with a questionnaire including six open-ended questions. Before the instruction started, both groups had problems about understanding of daily life applications of pressure in liquids. The students in the experimental group performed better on post-test than those in the control group after the instruction. | en_US |
