Electron paramagnetic resonance of gamma irradiation damage centres in L-valine and L-leucine methyl ester hydrochlorides

The EPR spectra of gamma-irradiated powders of L-valine and L-leucine methyl ester hydrochlorides indicated the existence of the [Me(2)C over dot CHNH(3)COOMe]Cl radical in the former and of the [Me(2)C over dot CH(2)CHNH(3)COOMe]Cl radical in the latter.
