Abstract
In this study, variational evaluations were made on different models obtained by revising reinforcement ratios of examined reference reinforced concrete systems. For earthquake force's directions, the axes of multistorey and single span reinforced concrete systems of which bearing system consist of shear wall, column and beam were created and analysed with the aid of finite element software. Initial models were created depending on datas of relevant Turkish standarts and specifications. Then, several variations were made by altering these ratios. Thanks to the datas obtained by nonlinear analysis, lateral load beraring capacities, column-shear wall ductilities, beam ductilities and total ductilities of models were calculated and various interpretations and suggestions were made. Key Words: Earthquake, Reinforced Concrete, Minimum Reinforcement Ratio, Finite Element.
