Olfactory Neuroblastoma (Esthesioneuroblastoma): Case Report

Abstract

Olfactory neuroblastoma is a rare specialized form of malignant neuroectodermal tumor arising from the olfactory neuroepithelium. It was firstly described in 1924 by Berger and Luc. It accounts for about 3% of all tumors of the nasal cavity. A case of olfactory neuroblastoma of a 48 years old male patient is reported because of its rarity and is discussed in the light of literature.
